Former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the missile man who became popular as ‘People’s President’ died on Monday evening at Bethany Hospital after he suffered a massive cardiac arrest and collapsed while delivering a lecture at India Institute of Management, Shillong. Our team of students and staff at WMA mourns for the loss with the rest of the country. Student Shiva Sharma shares Dr. Kalam’s childhood in poverty and his early struggles. Dr kalam’s death is a huge loss for the nation. “We will miss you Sir. May your soul rest in peace! ”
